A milestone has been reached in section 1 field hockey. With Scarsdale’s 4-2 win over White Plains Wednesday night, head coach Sharon Rosenthal notched her 100th career victory. As a Scarsdale graduate and in what is now her eleventh season as the Raider head coach, she couldn’t be more proud of what the program has become.

“Scarsdale has always had a good, competitive program and I’ve just tried to continue that tradition of keeping a competitive program,” Rosenthal said. “My girls are playing hard and have built a lot of team camaraderie. They’re learning to play with heart and hustle and leave it on the field. That’s how I played and that’s how I coach.”

Scarsdale improved to 6-0-2 and is one of only four remaining unbeatens in section 1.
